Award for Bike Glenlivet Trail Centre|
It's official - Bike Glenlivet is EXCELLENT! The mountain bike trail centre has been assessed under the VisitScotland quality assurance scheme and awarded a 4 star Excellent award.
North East Trail Centre Organisation
Have your say in the future of Mountain Biking in Aberdeenshire. On the 10th of November there will be a public meeting to review and discuss the future of Mountain Biking in Aberdeenshire and the North East. Hosted by NETCO
The Deeside Way will be diverted during week commencing Monday 16 May for around 14 months due to construction of the AWPR. An alternative short diversion route, via Milltimber Brae and North Deeside Road, will be in place to ensure that users of the Deeside Way can continue their journeys safely.
Kirkhill MTB Trails
The AWPR (Aberdeen Western Periferal Route) construction has begun and will have some effects on Kirkhill forest. Construction and haulage vehicles will be transported to the worksite along Forestry Commission roads throughout Kirkhill, affecting the waymarked trail. The forest remains open.
